Amber Boardman received a BFA in painting from Georgia State University and an MFA in fine art from The School of Visual Arts in New York City. Boardman's time-based work explores visual representations of music and emotion while fusing animated, digital and handmade elements. She is currently working with composers and performers on a series of “New Music Videos”. Her work was included in BAM’s Next Wave Art Festival curated by Dan Cameron in the fall of 2010. She teaches at Rutgers University and lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. Boardman is represented by Marcia Wood Gallery in Atlanta, GA.
